We are mindful of the need to conserve the Earth’s dwindling resources, and of our responsibility to design structures that heal – physically and emotionally – their users.

Lightness is our driving force.
Lightness in shape, structure and ideas is a quest for efficiency. Minimum use of materials to achieve maximum effect. It is a fundamental of design and a pathway to progress.

Our design process is always rooted in research – our starting point is gaining a deep appreciation of context. We explore the accumulated wisdom and innovation found in cultural and natural history of every site we work in. This allows us to achieve designs that are both unique and familiar at the same time. Bold and striking, but respectful of the past and embodying a strong sense of place.
